Senate Republicans on Sunday successfully stripped a proposed $35 per month cap on out-of-pocket spending on insulin for patients enrolled in private insurance from the tax and climate bill making its way through the Senate.

Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., who represents the 9th Congressional District of New Jersey which encompasses Secaucus, has announced $950,000 in federal funds to support the construction of the new senior center in the town.

Despite Republican opposition, Democrats passed a bill to affirm the right to cross state lines for abortion care in response to attempts by anti-choice lawmakers to ban such travel.

“We have the texts” between Mark Meadows and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife Ginni Thomas, Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) says. He expects the Jan. 6th committee to subpoena her for her role in the insurrection.

Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr. called it “one of the worst breaches of trust ever seen in our court system.”

Congressman Bill Pascrell is furious that the richest Americans can get away with paying no taxes. But even Democrats won’t give him a hearing to discuss it.

“The first order of business for these new board members should be at long last removing Louis DeJoy from authority,” said Rep. Pascrell.
